Materials with a life of their own
Acrylic paints on canvas form the basis of the paintings. Materials with their own inherent properties, such as marble dust, binders, texture paste, bone glues, waxes, ink, and tar, are used.
Layer upon layer of paint is applied until a three-dimensional effect is created. The surface becomes furrowed, gaining structure and plasticity, and different depth effects are achieved depending on the angle of the light.
